The Illustration student Leyre Garatea is the winner of the Swab Stairs contest. The project organized by the Contemporary Art Fair Swab Barcelona fill the metro stairs with art by students from the design schools of the city.
Her design dresses these days the stairs of the Plaça Catalunya L1 (Pl.Catalunya/Ronda Universitat) station. Leyre explains us: “We live a transformation time, and it seems the solution is return to the origin. So we used the image of a chameleon in the context of the universe, adapting it and being part of a Whole".
