IED launches a new multimedia project: a TV channel to give visibility to contents and creativity produced inside the network: dissertation projects, interviews to professors, advertisements, events reportages, animation and trailers are the programme schedule of IED.TV.
IED once again proves a training institute attentive to new trends, and able to move using new communication channels. To cheer the iPod generation up, video contents are also available in podcasting.
Thanks to the Internet creatives of the future can enjoy high visibility, proving their talent and showing the competence acquired along their training course. The aim is, in fact, adding value to students’ ingenuity and potential through the publication of their work. In these terms, IED.TV can be regarded as an online portfolio, following the project gallery already available for surfing on the official IED website.
IED.TV is the most immediate way of getting to know IED activities: the platform allows to look up in an archive containing audio-video material produced in occasion of courses, special projects, workshops, events and seminars organised by the Institute campuses.
IED.TV philosophy is the social network one: the on line community has the opportunity to rate the best videos, replay them again and again, share them with friends and thus broaden their own knowledge.
IED.TV can be explored setting a channel of interest – Fashion, Design, Visual arts and Communication- a IED campus or key words. It allows the preview of videos in full screen and high quality.
Partner of Istituto Europeo di Design in this new challenge is LSVMultimedia, Luca and Sergio Valsecchi’s company, who graduated in IED in 1997 on a Computer Graphics experimental course.
