Barcelona Wednesday, the 22nd April. 15.30h. - 20.30h. Next Wednesday an introductory workshop to the world of visual arts will take place in the IED Barcelona. During the workshop we will be able to know closely the projects realized by the pupils of the Visual Arts Area and to experiment on the set of video with recordings, softwares and sensors.
We will expose an interactive installation and how our actions influence the behavior of different elements. Afterwards, a conference will take place by ex-students of graphic design and video design from the IED Milan, centred on interactive creations, technology and audio-visual literacy, but also in their professional experience. Finally, we will move to the multimedia workshop of the IED Barcelona, where we will interact with the installation "Globbing": 4 globes concentrated on the surface of the workshop with tapes. We will observe what happens when we pull them up or down.
Workshop of Video: " Interactivate Elements " 15.30h. - 18.30h. - Introduction to the world of visual arts IED. - Description of some projects developed by the A.V. Conference 18.30h. - 19.30h. Ex-students of graphic design and video design of the IED Milano will develop the following points: - The technology and the Visual Arts: Action and reaction. - The multimedia horizon, the potential of visual Arts and its applications on the market. - Definition of " Audio-visual Interactive installation ". - The constant feed back: The participation from a dynamic and creative perspective. - Description of 11 Jenkins's qualities for the Audio-visual Literacy. - Process and Organization. - Questions and commentaries from students. - Conclusion. “Globbing”. 19.30h. - 20.30h. Interactive installation that will be inside the Multimedia Laboratory IED. The interaction is obtained across 4 globes stuck on the surface with tapes. When we pull each one of them, upwards or downwards, we will be able to control one of the elements of the videoprojection. You cannot miss it, it is for free and it will be a great occasion to know ourselves personally, to visit the facilities and to put into practice your creative skills.
