The last September edition of MODAFAD has already chosen the winning designers of the Prizes "cover T" naming Laura Diéguez, former IED Barcelona student, the prize winner for most creativity with her final project Monstruoplastia.
Most importantly Monstruoplastia is a colourful critique collection. It critiques us, our society saturated with consumption, from which the colour palette emerged, from the excess. A ‘big bang’ combining ease, provocation and most importantly humour.
The MODAFAD jury for “Cover T”, was formed by Joana Bonet, director of Marie Claire Spain; Yolanda Grind, director of Metal; Juan Montenegro, director of B-Guided; Sofia Clari, artistic director of Ego Cibeles; the stylists Ana Murilla and Txema Ramírez; and Doshaburi.
The winning designer of the MODAFAD prize, will receive 6.000 euro to develop a collection to be presented in an individual runway show at the next MODAFAD edition, as well as a stand at the next edition of the 080 showroom.
Congratulations Laura!!!
