The Barcelona´s Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) has presented the thesis project Fashion Mythologies created by the students of Fashion Design in the International Bogota´s Fashion Week.
Fashion Mythologies collection is inspired by the myths of history, from ancient Greece to today's society through the myths of Hollywood. The projects are developed through the free personal interpretation of the young designers in the world of myths.
On the catwalk there will be shown a total of 40 outfits from 16 young designers, the fourth class of IED Barcelona, highlighted by the multiculture of its members.
IED Barcelona has more international students than any other campus in the IED network and can highlight the presence in the show of Lucrecia Lovera from Argentina, Rosa Lopez and Anays Escobar from Venezuela, and Cynthia Compeán Meritxell Jorba from Mexico,from Netherlands Hiske Ter Veld, Lisa Melin from Sweden, Delphine Lopez of France, Caterina Foletti from Switzerland, Ariadna Guirado, Ana Valero, Rosa Granados and Maria Vargas of Spain. Designers & Raúl Stina of Sweden and Mexico, Loreto Bivignat Lucero Cintrón of Chile and Puerto Rico participating in the presentation of his thesis project "The Emotions Collection” .
IED Barcelona is proud to participate in the International Fashion Week in Bogota, and have the opportunity to show internationally the creations of the future promises of fashion encountered in the school.
