IED Barcelona opens its new location and wants to celebrate it with all the students, alumni and teachers with some activities that will take place at Biada 11 street the days after the opening.

Exhibition will hold some of the best students’ projects of last years.

Round table: “The importance of design in constructing future societies”
Participants: Clive Van Heerden, creative director of the “Design Probes” project at Philips; Juli Capella, architect and design expert; Guillem Ricarte, director of Creafutur.
Moderator: Jarauta Francisco, Spain IED scientific director and philosopher.
Important design and creativity experts will discuss the current design trends and how its use and evolution will open new ways in a close future.

Participants: Derrick De Kerckove, Richard Buchanan, Ken Friedman, Muhammad Yunus and Francisco Jarauta.
Design specialists and professionals from around the world will discuss different topics of business design, such as design thinking, the design of business processes and models, its educational frameworks or managing designing.
