The collection “The party. Your ignorance is their strength” is inspired by George Orwell’s book 1984. Specifically, the totalitarian state governed by a sole political party which exercises absolute control over society, doing away with freedom and the fondness for it.
The collection aims to restore the fulfilment of the human rights that in Orwell’s piece are totally violated.

Barcelona Design Tour (Bread & Butter Barcelona)

Carolina Caralt, a former IED student, has won, ex aequo, the Barcelona Design Tour Award, a contest organised by Bread & Butter Barcelona and which took place last January, coinciding with Bread and Butter´s winter show. Thirty-two students from the eight main fashion training centres in the city developed individual and original designs especially for the project, based on the concept and chromatic palette of the King Size’s campaign that was used to present the last Bread & Butter show.

Warriors from Paradise is a trip through Asian, African and American tribes in the search of pure signs. These tribes stand out for the beauty and simplicity of their clothing, which include lively, colourful and vibrating elements; where the decorative and the practical aspect, colour and shape, fuse into one concept.
Warriors from Paradise are warriors of love, wisdom, tradition, colour, Nature…beauty is the best weapon against evil.
